Michael A. Blamires, D.D.S.
Dentist at Canyon Ridge Dental
Thank you so much for the opportunity to help care for your smile! I grew up in Layton and graduated from Brigham Young University before attending dental school at the University of Iowa. After graduation, I served as a dentist in the Air Force and completed a residency program in general dentistry at David Grant Medical Center in California.
I have been practicing dentistry since 1998 and really enjoy my interaction with patients and the challenge of providing quality care in a gentle way. My wife, Rebecca and I have 3 grown children, 2 in-law children, and 1 granddaughter. We love spending time with them! We enjoy traveling, watching sporting events, and playing games together. In my spare time, I like to read and run long-distance races.

I was born and raised in Utah and I live less than 3 miles from the house I grew up in! It's sure not the same small town I grew up in now! Single Mom to 2 amazing humans, my daughters Catherine and Arielle are my very greatest achievements! I have 3 grandchildren, Avery, Josh and Lucy, who I love spending time with. Last year I adopted a cat, Miss Molly, who is a feisty 4lb tabby who thinks she can beat up anything that walks past our house!
I've been here at Canyon Ridge for since 2020 and cannot believe how much I have learned since I started. I love our patients and look forward to their visit when I see them on the schedule! It's really important to me that they feel comfortable in our office and they know I care about them and their families.
When I am not working, I love to read, watch movies and expand my knowledge of random, useless trivia. Music and poetry are my passions, my favorite game is "who sings this song"! I love to cook and bake, there isn't much I cannot make. If I ever offer to make you Eggs Benedict or a chocolate cake you know I must like you! My favorite place to be is on the Oregon coast, searching for agates and enjoying every sunset I can!

I have worked at Canyon Ridge Dental since April of 2019. I have loved every minute of it! I graduated Weber State University with a Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene. I took a year off in 2018 when we adopted my son who had some health concerns, but couldn't be more excited to be here on Tuesdays.
When I'm not working we are gardening or playing as a family. We love to paddle board, go to farmers markets, or plan our next vacation. I love Disney as well and have gone more times than I can count!

I have been part of the Canyon Ridge Dental team since 2014. I am also Dr. Blamires wife! I frew up in Sandy, Utah and met Dr. Blamires while attending BYU. I studied special education while there and after raising our children, had the opportunity to join the Canyon Ridge eam as the insurance specialist. When I am away from the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading good books, watching movies, gardening, teaching piano lessons and traveling.

Hi, I'm Stefanie! As the Marketing and Front desk Coordinator, I love creating a good experience and organized environment for both our patients and our team. From scheduling appointments to social media, promotions and community outreach; I enjoy finding creative ways to connect people and share our story.
Outside of work I am a proud mom of four, a lifelong soccer player and fan, and someone who believes in healthy lifestyle, good music and dancing a little every day.
